The Minister for Women and Equalities has announced several changes to gender law, including restricting irreversible treatments for under-18s, to mixed response.
The Lord Chancellor, Robert Buckland, has told Parliament’s Joint Committee on Human Rights that the Government has no plans to review the current law on assisted suicide.
The Scottish Government will continue with plans to make parental smacking a criminal offence this year despite concerns over the implementation of the new law.
