I feel like I say this all of the time, but it remains true: This year’s elections are the most important in lifetimes, possibly ever.

We’ve been reminded of the importance many times this month—from hurricane recovery efforts here in Texas; to the extremes of the Republican National Convention, JD Vance, and Project 2025; to the excitement for Vice President Harris’ newly launched presidential campaign.

This month’s events have made some things even more clear: We simply have to defend this seat, win back the House, keep the Senate, and elect Vice President Harris as President of the United States.  I am optimistic that we can make it all happen because I have seen what is possible when we fight for what we believe in. 

#TeamLizzie will keep doing our part every day until November to win our race and support other candidates on the ballot—and that means reaching the goals we set, including our July goal.

Every dollar we raise helps us make the case to people at home why I’m the right person for this job and why candidates like Colin Allred and Vice President Harris are the right people for the jobs they’re running for, too.

If these last few weeks have shown us anything, it is how important it is that we come together—across our community, our state, and our country—to do the work that needs to be done.

That’s why your support and generous contributions are so meaningful, and why I’m so grateful for all you’ve done and I know you will do between now and November.  And if you can, I’d appreciate any amount you can contribute before our deadline tonight.
