16 million children need your help!!

The Tax Relief for American Families and Workers Act of 2024 is a bipartisan tax agreement that expands and improves the Child Tax credit (CTC) and Low-income Housing Tax credit (LIHTC). The bill has already passed the House. The Senate is expected to vote on it tomorrow.

Contact your senators ([link removed]) and urge them to support passage of the tax package.

The CTC provisions would benefit 16 million children currently not receiving the credit because their families do not earn enough money from working.

In addition, the LIHTC provision would reinstate the lapsed 12.5% allocation increase for 2023-2025 and lower the 50% bond financing threshold test to 30% for private activity bond allocations in 2024-2025. If passed, these two provisions have the potential to create over 200,000 units of affordable housing.
