Sam went on to share a personal story about when he defended life:

Years ago, while at a business lunch with my three business partners and the CEO of one of our largest vendors, the topic of “a woman’s right to choose” came up. One of my partners stated that she just believes that a woman has the right to choose what to do with her body. We have had many heated discussions about this topic over the years, and I [have] always been respectful but have voiced my stance, such as, “What about the 50% of those women in the womb?” But on this occasion, I was quiet. Well, our vendor spoke up and stated that he was against abortion except for instances of rape and incest. He then turned to me and asked me my opinion. At the time, I had never heard of or thought of my response, but this is what came to me, “Well, I just don’t think that we should follow up one violent act (referring to his rape/incest exception) with another.” He looked at me and said, “I have never thought of it that way. I may have to rethink my stance on those exceptions!”

These conversations—one-by-one—have the power to transform our culture. That’s why Live Action exists… to foster this kind of life-saving education on a national level. And that’s why your gift today will have such a lasting impact.
