Food & Water Action is excited to endorse Kamala Harris for President!

This is the first time Food & Water Action has endorsed a presidential candidate. We’re endorsing Vice President Harris because we know the stakes in this election — your food, water, climate, and democracy are on the line. We saw the destruction wrought by Trump when he was president; we can’t let that happen again. Kamala Harris is the right candidate to stop him. 

We hope you’ll join us in supporting Vice President Harris on November 5!

As Vice President, Harris has helped move our country forward in combating climate change: returning to the Paris Climate Agreement (from which Trump withdrew), passing record investments in renewable energy (which Trump wants to repeal), and issuing a pause on new liquefied natural gas (LNG) export licenses (which Trump has pledged to approve on day one). 

Harris proved herself a champion for clean water while in the Senate and, as Vice President, helped secure record funding for removing lead drinking water pipes and issuing the first-ever regulations of toxic PFAS forever chemicals. This administration has also confronted corporate greed and price gouging.

Personally, I am energized to fight to win this election! With your support, we’re working across the country, making phone calls, knocking on doors, and writing letters to get out the vote! It was a winning strategy before and it’s even more of a winning strategy now.

There is still much more that needs to be done, but with Harris as president, we’ll have the opportunity to build strong coalitions that can move the needle further, rein in corporate abuses of your food, water, and climate, and enact meaningful protections for people and the planet.
