Dear John,
Argentinian President Javier Milei took to X on Sunday to express his thoughts on the recent election in Venezuela.
Whereas polls showed the pro-democracy opposition up at least 30 points, incumbent president and socialist authoritarian Nicolás Maduro claimed victory with 51% of the vote.
Milei was one of the first Latin American leaders to accuse the dictator of electoral fraud.
Milei wrote, “Venezuelans chose to end the communist dictatorship of Nicolás Maduro… Argentina will not recognize another fraud.”
From slashing government spending to calling out cheating dictators, Javier Milei continues to champion freedom and liberal democracy in Latin America.
That’s why I’m excited to share with you the new Summer 2024 edition of our magazine, Freedom’s Champion.
President Milei graces the front cover of this special edition, where we explore his journey from academic to political firebrand and examine his bold vision for Argentina’s future.
