Friends, this past weekend, I told you we needed to raise $100,000 more before the end of July.
After I made that announcement, so many of you stepped up — including a surge of more than a thousand first-time donors, many of whom have been energized by the recent momentum coming out of Kamala Harris’s campaign for president.
I am so excited about all of the energy we’re seeing from Democrats right now. I’m seeing it out on the campaign trail all across Virginia, online on social media, and right here in our email program, with more people than ever before chipping in.
I’m particularly heartened by that last one because grassroots donations are incredibly important to securing Democratic victories in November. They allow us to scale up voter outreach, get the word out to more people, and turn more folks out to the polls — which is exactly what we need to do if we want to win.
We’re so close to reaching that $100,000 goal, and I know how much you care about our work together, so I wanted to ask: Will you pitch in $25 before the midnight deadline?
