Tonight at midnight, the nomination window for our inaugural Richard D. McLellan Prizes for Advancing Free Speech and Expression will close.

If a worthy person or project promoting freedom of speech and expression has been on your mind, now is the time to complete our simple nomination form so that our distinguished jury members can consider their work. You'll find more information and the nomination form on our website.

The annual grand prize award of $50,000 and the two $12,500 summer research grants for scholars represent a major effort to restore the perennial wisdom of the American tradition of free speech. We're pleased to work with the McLellan Prizes jury in the weeks and months to come to review and evaluate your nominations.
