### **China’s AI Brainwashing Just Hit Another Level**
In another egregious example of communist overreach, the People's Republic of China has further expanded its suffocating grip on free expression, mandating new regulations aimed at ensuring Artificial Intelligence (AI) models toe the party line.
Under the watchful eye of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), domestic tech giants must submit to rigorous reviews designed to guarantee their Large Language Models (LLM)s embody – yes, you guessed it - "core socialist values." This Orwellian nightmare was initially exposed by The Financial Times last week.
Beijing's notorious Great Firewall, infamous for suppressing online dissent since the dark days following the Tiananmen Square Massacre, is now being adapted to police AI-generated content. Tech behemoths like ByteDance, Moonshot, and [01.AI]([link removed]) face scrutiny from the Cyberspace Administration of China (CAC). Their algorithms must demonstrate sufficient zealotry in scrubbing undesirable thoughtcrime from digital discourse.
These insidious chatbots are engineered to detect verbiage red flags, deflecting inquiries about taboo subjects – think human rights abuses, Tibet, Taiwan...you get the drift. When confronted with unpalatable truths, these robotic apparatchiks emit platitudes like "Try asking something else!" or feign ignorance ("Sorry, haven't quite grasped that one yet! Still learning!")
