The GOP has already used the current crisis to successfully restrict abortion care in four states and is currently fighting to do the same in at least nine more.

Republican governors have deemed this core reproductive right “elective” or “nonessential,'' explicitly against the guidance of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the World Health Organization.

Democrats and groups like Planned Parenthood are fighting against these decisions, but in many states, the cases will fall to appeals courts, where The New York Times says Donald Trump has appointed more judges, “than any other president during the first three years in office.” With Trump loyalists on the circuit courts, Gorsuch and Kavanaugh on the Supreme Court, and attacks on abortion rights at the state level mounting every day, we need to know:
