Support LGBTQ Students on the GLSEN Day of Silence

John,

As you’re reading this, hundreds of thousands of students nationwide are standing in solidarity—as part of GLSEN’s 25th Annual Day of Silence—the erasure and silencing of LGBTQ youth caused by bullying, harassment, and violence.

This year, students participating in the largest student-led action on LGBTQ equality in the world will take a voluntarily virtual vow of silence for the entire day—sharing on social media and demonstrating deep commitment to ending LGBTQ bias in their schools.

Participating means something different—something personal—to each student.

What does their silence mean to you?

John, as someone who is committed to the safety and wellbeing of LGBTQ youth, I hope you’ll support these students by making a special gift to GLSEN.

DONATE TODAY

We’re excited to announce that advocate and March for Our Lives founder Emma Gonzalez—who was the president of her GSA at Stoneman Douglas HS in Parkland, FL—will be among the big names joining us today.

Seeing our community come together in challenging circumstances to adapt this annual day of action into a new, virtual format is inspiring.

John, thank you for standing with the tens of thousands of young people taking a vow of silence today.
