I’m sure you’ve seen the recent polling updates that show a tied race between Tammy Baldwin and Eric Hovde for Wisconsin’s U.S. Senate seat.

But there’s another polling stat that stood out to me: there are still many Wisconsinites who don’t have an opinion on Eric Hovde, because they don’t know who he is.

We know the truth about Eric Hovde. We know he’s a megamillionaire self-funder and a Southern California mainstay. We know he disparages people in nursing homes, farmers, and single mothers. We know he’s adamantly opposed to abortion, Social Security, and the Affordable Care Act.

But Hovde has poured millions of dollars into his campaign so he can convince Wisconsinites otherwise. He and his super PAC allies have already spent more than $22 million flooding the airwaves to deceive us.
