Ghost guns are real guns – the gun lobby wants them unregulated and untraceable. ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌
The Supreme Court just announced they’ll hear arguments in the case for Biden’s life-saving ghost gun rule in mere months. The gun lobby has been fighting against this rule clarifying that unserialized, untraceable ghost guns should be regulated since it was announced and we cannot allow them to win another decision in the highest court in the land. Brady won’t let the gun lobby get away with this without a fight and we’re counting on our activists to speak out today. Can you respond to our urgent poll right now?

Hi John,
My name is Shira and I’m part of the legal team here at Brady. I’m reaching out to you today because of a critical threat to our national safety:
Unregulated, untraceable, and unserialized ghost guns.
Without regulation, these firearms do not require a background check , meaning anyone – including minors and prohibited purchasers – can get a kit online and assemble these deadly weapons at home.
The lack of regulation on ghost guns is exactly why they’ve become weapons of choice for criminals and their proliferation cannot be ignored – in fact, from 2017 to 2021, there was a 1000% increase in ghost guns recovered from crimes.
That’s exactly why President Bident took executive action to clarify that ghost guns are real guns and should be regulated accordingly, but his life-saving action is under attack by the gun lobby and now the legality of the rule will be decided in the highest court in the land.
Before it's too late, will you respond to Brady’s urgent poll right now:
Should ghost guns be regulated?

NO [[link removed]]
In 2022, President Biden enacted executive actions to properly classify dangerous ghost guns as firearms, subjecting them to existing, common-sense firearms regulations. But, to no one's surprise, the gun lobby immediately began a legal battle against the rule.
The gun lobby first took the case to a federal judge in Texas, who sided with the gun lobby and struck down the rule. The Justice Department appealed to the Fifth Circuit, a court dominated by Trump-appointees, which upheld the decision in Texas. Now, the Supreme Court will hear the case in October and we at Brady will fight with all we have to make sure this life-saving rule remains in effect.
The gun lobby would rather let Americans die than allow firearm regulations to address our modern realities, but Brady is fighting tooth and nail to stop them. We need to show an outpouring of support for regulating these deadly ghost guns. That's why we're searching for 37 more activists from your area to speak out before midnight tonight. Please, John, answer our urgent poll now:
Should ghost guns be regulated?

Ghost guns are a national threat to which we must respond – and that’s exactly what Brady is doing. We won’t stand down to the gun lobby or their deadly agenda. Your support helps us keep fighting.
