My name is Sam Brown. I’m a West Point grad, combat veteran, and Purple Heart recipient.


Before I tell you why I’m reaching out, I want to tell you a little bit about myself.

In 2008, I was deployed to Afghanistan. Only four months into my deployment, I was on a mission when I received word that another nearby platoon had been ambushed. So I led my team into battle to provide support for our fellow soldiers.


That’s when my life changed. When I entered the engagement area, a roadside bomb detonated under the fuel tank of my vehicle.


I was drenched in diesel and covered in flames.


By the grace of God, my gunner was able to extinguish the flames before they took my life.


I fully understand the gravity of service and the sacrifices made to defend our great nation. In fact, it’s why I’m running for Senate in the swing state of Nevada right now.


About 2,300 miles away, there’s another West Point grad and combat veteran running for Senate too. His name is Dave McCormick and he is running against a career politician who votes with Joe Biden 98% of the time.


His race is neck and neck and I know every dollar will make a huge difference. If Dave and I both win our races, Republicans flip the Senate.


It sounds simple, but top-contested Senate campaigns have become very expensive to win.
