Kamala Harris is going to make history as the first woman and first Asian American to be elected President of the United States. Even more, she has made a splash, having raised over $200 million since she announced her candidacy.

It is clear that just like me, Americans are fired up about Kamala Harris becoming our 47th president. The Vice President has earned enough delegates to name her the presumptive nominee for the Democratic Party, gaining endorsements from everyone from former Speaker Nancy Pelosi to Charli XCX.

I was proud to be the first member of Congress to endorse Kamala for president in 2020 and I’m even more thrilled that my Democratic colleagues have rallied around her this week. Now, we need to put our money where our mouths are and support Kamala as she fights her way to the White House. 

It is the end of July and that means we are up against an end-of-month deadline. Today, I am asking you to make a donation of $25 that will be split between Democratic races across the country, and Kamala Harris for President. Can you chip in today?

The threat of extremism is gaining traction as we saw at the Republican National Convention. If we are going to fight off these threats, we need a fighter like Kamala Harris in the White House. She is a tough prosecutor who never lets felons win—and that goes for Donald Trump, too.
