And now we're deeply concerned Dr. Anthony Fauci -- a long-time public health professional and a lead member of Trump's pandemic response task force -- could be on the chopping block after Trump amplified messages calling for his firing.

Let’s be clear: Our country is depending on Dr. Fauci to keep us safe and tell the truth during an unprecedented global health crisis.

And with Trump’s track record, we’re terrified Dr. Fauci’s position is more vulnerable than ever before.
