John,
We’re excited to see so much enthusiasm around this year's elections at the federal, state, and local levels.
We’re reminding voters that in this election, we’re not just voting against attacks on vulnerable communities―we’re also voting for increased access to health care and nutrition programs, affordable housing, humane immigration policies, and increased access to voting for all eligible voters.
On our recent voter engagement webinar, Selene Gomez from VoteRiders said:
“About 15% of voters do not have an unexpired driver’s license or state ID with their current name or address on it… translating it into 2020 census numbers, that is more than 34.5 million people.”
This is why the work we’re doing to empower voters is so critical. We need to ensure everyone has what they need to make their voice heard between now and Election Day.
Join us this Thursday, August 1st at 7pm ET for our next virtual letter writing party where we’ll be writing to infrequent voters in Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin to ensure they have all the information they need to cast their ballots this November.

We have reached thousands of potential voters, but we still have thousands more to reach, and we can get to them with your help.
If you aren’t able to join us, please donate today to our Vote for Human Needs Campaign to expand our voter outreach efforts between now and Election Day.
Thank you for all you do,
Deborah Weinstein Executive Director, Coalition on Human Needs

John,
With less than 100 days until Election Day, we’re seeing more energy around this election―across age ranges and demographics―than we’ve seen in years. At the Coalition on Human Needs, we’re harnessing that energy into action, reaching infrequent voters and turning them out to vote between now and November 5th.
This Thursday, August 1st, at 7:00 pm ET, we’re hosting our next virtual letter writing party with our allies at Vote Forward! We’ll be writing to infrequent voters in critical states, reminding them of the importance of voting for human needs, and we’ll provide voters with the information they need to make their voices heard at the ballot box.

Vote Forward has a proven track record of increasing voter turnout.1 They’ve shown repeatedly that letters with nonpartisan messaging that volunteers like you write really work, which is why we’re partnering again to write letters to voters in the critical states of Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.
We are fighting against some of the most stringent voter suppression laws we have seen in history. In 2024, voters in 28 states will face voter restrictions that were not in place during the 2020 presidential election.2
The only way our democracy works is if everyone participates and has their voice heard.
Join us on Thursday, August 1st at 7:00 pm ET to write letters to voters in key states.
If you can’t join us, I hope you’ll power our Vote for Human Needs campaign with a donation today.
Click here to help expand our voter outreach efforts as we ensure allies on the ground in critical states have the resources and tools they need to turnout disenfranchised communities and infrequent voters.
Thank you for all you do,
