Connect with your lawmakers this summer!
Dear John,
Equality Virginia is launching a brand-new summertime advocacy program - Loud & Proud Summer! Since our state lawmakers began submitting bills for the 2025 General Assembly session as early as July 15th, 2024, right now is a KEY time to engage legislators around LGBTQ+ issues while they are still in their home districts for the summer.
Loud & Proud Summer allows you to connect with your legislators locally, share your thoughts and experiences around the issues that matter most to you and your community, and offers options to engage in-person, virtually, or via email and phone.
Participants can expect to receive advocacy trainings from Equality Virginia staff, who will also help participants schedule meetings with their state legislators over the upcoming weeks. Don't miss out on this chance to influence your legislators to focus on the issues most affecting you and your community. Fill out the form linked in the button below to sign up to be a Loud & Proud Summer Advocate!
