The Senate Bipartisan Majority was able to accomplish many goals this year. In addition to being an important check and balance against the Governor and House Republicans, we were also able to pass the largest single year increase in K12 education funding in state history, get legislation passed to address crime, drugs and recovery and worked with utility companies to create an important breakthrough in energy transmission across the state from Fairbanks to Anchorage and all the way to Homer.
