Bend the arc

Dear Friend,

New polls are showing Kamala Harris neck-and-neck with Donald Trump! It’s an incredible turn of events, but we know what happens when the GOP’s back is against the wall: they use fear, division, and antisemitism to try to pick apart our multiracial pro-democracy movement and uphold their political power.

On August 8, join us for a timely and critical training for Jews and allies on how to talk about antisemitism, so that we can end it.

Unpacking and Responding to Antisemitism
Thursday, August 8, 12pm–1:30pm ET

Just last week, Trump equated Jewish people and the state of Israel, promoting the dangerous and antisemitic dual-loyalty trope. He calls Jews disloyal for voting against him while using antisemitism to try to scare us. Meanwhile, the Republican Party has rolled out a platform on immigration that is steeped in Great Replacement theory, a conspiracy that endangers Jews. How do we effectively fight back when politicians fuel or use antisemitism?

This training will cover some history of antisemitism, what’s happening in our current domestic political context, and where antisemitism is having an impact on our movements. Then we’ll dive into the new, updated Dismantling Antisemitism Messaging guide, which offers concrete tools for effectively addressing antisemitism and mobilizing people towards solutions.

RSVP here for “Unpacking and Responding to Antisemitism” on Thursday, August 8 at 12pm ET / 9am PT.

In solidarity,

Carrie Sterns
Director of Education & Praxis

PS: This is our last 101 training before four advanced level trainings in September, including “Responding to Antisemitic Incidents” and “What is Smokescreen Antisemitism?” After you attend this one, stay tuned for info on additional trainings coming soon.

Help power our movement forward

We're rising up alongside all who are impacted by antisemitism, anti-Black racism, and white supremacy to fight for the joyful future we deserve — a future where Black liberation is realized and where all of us are safe and thriving, no matter what we look like or where we come from.
