In recent weeks, we’ve seen a slate of polls showing Virginia tied at the presidential level and the Republican candidate gaining momentum in the battle for Tim Kaine’s Senate seat.
As you know, self-described MAGA supporter Hung Cao won the GOP nomination for Senate in Virginia last month. Now, he’s calling himself “the future of the Republican Party” and recently stood alongside GOP VP nominee JD Vance at a rally in Radford just last week.
The emergence of Vice President Kamala Harris as the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee has massively energized folks all around the country — and this grassroots surge couldn’t come soon enough, because the election is less than 100 days away!
Here’s the bottom line: There’s no math that keeps the Senate or the White House in Democratic control without winning statewide here in Virginia.
This weekend, we celebrated 100 days out from Election Day. And on Sunday, Tim told you we needed to raise another $100,000 by the end of July. We’ve made progress, but we’ve still got a ways to go, and only 36 hours left to get it done.
