It's the middle of summer and fishing isn't easy. Still, Nebraska's reservoirs have a good white bass and wiper bite in July through August and into September.
Red Willow Reservoir State Recreation Area, by McCook, is always a good spot for white bass and wipers, and also offers some good channel catfish and crappies.
