John, We want to share with you this outstanding and jaw-dropping - yet all too true - story that outlines how a team of operatives working at the direction of Trump attorney Jesse Binnall and ally Sidney Powell, walked into an election office in southern Georgia and unlawfully took copies of the software that runs the voting machines, then covertly shared it with a network of Trump allies and election deniers. READ: In Georgia, the “Biggest Election Breach in History” Has Gone Uninvestigated Unlike the Watergate break-in, these operatives were ushered in by the election supervisor and the local Republican county chair, and all their extralegal activities were caught on camera. Not only that, the plan to copy the voting system software was explicitly documented in emails and a contract between Powell and the operatives. Furthermore, some of the operatives admitted to it all under oath in depositions, establishing an abundance of evidence of potential criminal activity. And if that wasn’t enough, records and depositions also show that the plot to take the software in Georgia was part of a multistate scheme to take voting system software from other states. The software was then quietly shared among a network of Trump supporters and election deniers (who have it to this day). Yet that evidentiary record was not created through a criminal investigation by the local prosecutor, nor by the Georgia Attorney General, not even by the FBI or Department of Justice. Our friends at the Coalition for Good Governance unearthed the evidence exposing this plot through their ongoing and longstanding civil litigation, creating a decisive record of possible crimes. Their evidence was used by the Fulton County District Attorney to charge four people, including Sidney Powell, for illegally accessing the voting system. Powell and another individual have pleaded guilty. But we at Free Speech For People can’t ignore it. When news of this brazenly illegal scheme came to light, we called on the Department of Justice, FBI, and Special Counsel to investigate and have continued to sound the alarm through direct outreach to the feds, through the press and essays, and through meetings with officials in Washington.
