For an average income household it’ll be up to $102 a fortnight (plus another $150 a fortnight through FamilyBoost <[link removed]> if you’re eligible and have kids in childcare.)

We understand it’s tough right now and this relief is just one part of our plan to ease the cost of living. Inflation is now less than half what it was two years ago and our approach of rebuilding our economy by stopping wasteful spending, cutting red tape and backing you to succeed is working.

We promised the first round of tax relief in 14 years. It’s only through National being in Government that you’re getting your hard-earned tax relief today. I’m incredibly proud to deliver it for you.
