The last week has been an absolute whirlwind getting up to speed on everything related to our digital program, including email, texting, ads, the works.

One of the first things I’ve learned is to never, ever doubt the strength and tenacity of this grassroots team, which actually brings me to the other reason I’m reaching out to you now:

Our July fundraising deadline is tomorrow at midnight, and I’d love to wrap up my first couple weeks here by helping hit our first big goal since joining the team. Will you please chip in $10 or $25 toward our $300,000 July Goal right away?

Running a sleek, well-oiled digital program really can make or break a campaign.

We need to reach Maryland voters and fundraise by every avenue possible, including over email, texting, ads, social media, event promotion, volunteer recruitment… you name it, digital plays a part.

But running a tight, efficient digital campaign requires resources, and we also need to continue ramping up our voter outreach, fund our TV ads, recruit and train staff, and loads more.
