Our movement is about being part of something bigger than ourselves, friend.

Competing in the Olympics for Canada was the privilege of a lifetime, something I’ll always be proud of. That experience taught me about how important representation truly is - it also got me thinking about how I could continue representing Canadians while giving back to my community once it was time to hang up my paddle.

What I didn’t know when I decided to run for office in 2019 was that the way you start a race matters as much in politics as it does in a race.
