It is clear the summer slump is in full effect. And to make matters worse, the competition in inboxes is getting more and more fierce the closer we get to the election.
We’re going to level with you, we had plans to expand and focus energy to assist down-ballot races where women are running tough races against extremist, deep-pocketed opponents here in PA.
However, this ActBlue report shows we simply don’t have the means to take that step yet.
We refuse to admit defeat. We knew if we leveled with you, some of our top supporters, that we would have an opportunity to reset, refocus, and start a new chapter with our next ActBlue report. John, can we and Mary Gay count on you to donate right now?
We know that you are being pulled in so many directions. The stakes are high and we are seeing spending this cycle like none other. That means all candidates are feeling the crunch and you as supporters are feeling the heat in your inbox.
It is easy to just focus on the top of the ticket in moments like this but we can’t leave everything up for grabs by the Republicans. You see, they have been laying the foundation for a strong ground game at the state and local level for decades, and they are banking on the fact Democratic donors will ignore and under-perform in their most targeted areas in PA.
Mary Gay wrote to you this morning and we saw some positive returns that make us hopeful tomorrow’s ActBlue report will get us back on track.
