Most of you know that I’m an Army Veteran. And most of you know who I am because of Trump’s first impeachment.

But it wasn't just me who blew the whistle on President Trump. It was me and Eugene — a former Colonel in the U.S. Army — who was the senior ethics official at the National Security Council in the White House at the time.

Blowing the whistle on Trump five years ago cost us our military careers, but Eugene has never let that deter him from serving his country.

Now Eugene is running for Congress in Virginia where he will continue to uphold the oath he took decades ago to defend our democracy from threats foreign and domestic — including MAGA extremism.

But it won’t be easy. Eugene is facing off against an anti-abortion MAGA Republican who has the backing and support of Donald Trump himself.

But that's not all. The path to winning this House majority runs through this competitive district, so Republicans will be dumping money into this race to defeat Eugene, and we cannot afford to take any chances or show an ounce of weakness.

You and I both know, he can’t win this fight alone. I am with him – there is nothing more important to me right now, but he needs your unwavering support too.
