Friends —

It is amazing how quickly a campaign can go from slow-and-steady to feeling like you're living every day in the middle of a whirlwind.

But that's where we are.

We had the attempted assassination of Trump, Trump named his VP from Ohio (of all places, please!), my potential opponent attacked me on stage at the Republican National Convention, and Joe Biden ended his campaign and endorsed Kamala Harris... all in 3 weeks.

And we're not done.

On August 6th, we’re going to know who our general election opponent is. Kamala Harris will name her VP and the Democratic National Convention will happen in just a few weeks. Wild times.

But I write because in the midst of ~ all this ~ going on, we can't let our race get lost in the shuffle. Because control of the Senate is at stake. And when our opponent is formally named, they are going to inherit the full support of the Republican Party. And we have to be ready. So I am asking:

Can I count on you to contribute $3 to my campaign for U.S. Senate in Michigan today? We will put your donation right to work holding this Senate seat for Democrats in November.

If you've stored your info with ActBlue, we'll process your contribution instantly:

Thank you,

Elissa
