Duke Energy is a greedy monopoly. Instead of transitioning to cheaper, cleaner energy sources, Duke continues to invest in expensive, dirty methane gas plants.

Tell the NC Utilities Commission to hold Duke Energy accountable!»

Hey John,

Duke Energy keeps raising our rates and dragging their feet on transitioning to cheaper, clean energy. We are working to hold them accountable and are so close to 1,000 signatures on our petition. Will you help us get there?

Here's the issue: instead of transitioning to cheaper, cleaner energy sources, Duke continues to invest in expensive, dirty methane gas plants. These gas plants cost more because they require pipelines to move the gas, more money to buy the gas, and building new plants to burn the gas. They also emit methane, which is 80 times more potent than carbon dioxide. North Carolinians deserve better.

Sign our petition to the NC Utilities Commission to hold Duke Energy Accountable!

Together, we can hold polluting corporations accountable and ensure an affordable and clean energy future for all North Carolinians.
