Ottawa County Unemployment Rate for June 2024

Preliminary unemployment rates for June 2024 were recently released by the Michigan Department of Technology, Management, and Budget. Ottawa County had an unemployment rate of 3.8%. This rate is the third lowest of all Michigan counties in June. Across Michigan, Grand Traverse County had the lowest unemployment rate at 3.6%, and Oscoda County had the highest rate at 7.9%. Eighty-one of Michigan’s 83 counties saw an increase in their unemployment rate from May to June.
