Women Must Have a Seat at the Table in Funding Coronavirus Relief Efforts: 

“Even as families are starting to receive their relief checks, we know it won’t go far enough. A one-time relief package in the midst of a crisis neither addresses the many challenges that lay ahead in a world profoundly changed by this pandemic, nor the existing economic, gender, racial and societal inequities that underlie and are further compounded by the COVID crisis.”

The Census Bureau kicked off a campaign this year to encourage more women to take part in the census. However, the coronavirus pandemic makes that harder. - New York Times
FIFA announces it will maintain funding for women's soccer despite concerns about the impact of the coronavirus pandemic. Following the Women's World Cup last year, FIFA President Gianni Infantino pledged to invest $1 billion in women's soccer over the next four years. - Associated Press
This week is Lesbian Visibility Week, a digital initiative launched by London-based Diva Media Group to "celebrate lesbians and show solidarity with all women in our community." - Advocate
WATCH: Women in Poland are holding virtual protests, or protesting from their cars, for abortion rights in light of the COVID-19 lockdown. Poland, a country with some of the most restrictive abortion rights in Europe, has a bill that would ban abortion in the case of fetal abnormalities.
