Team, President Biden’s proposals that regulate the Supreme Court come as the current Supreme Court has DECIMATED our rights and freedoms over the past few years, all while showing signs of corruption in favor of Donald Trump and his MAGA cronies – from overturning Roe v. Wade in 2022 to granting Donald Trump immunity from criminal prosecution for official acts earlier this month!
The president said it himself: “What is happening now is not normal, and it undermines the public’s confidence in the court’s decisions, including those impacting personal freedoms. We now stand in a breach.”
That’s why he’s proposing a constitutional amendment that would limit immunity for presidents, legislation that would that would impose term limits for justices and would stipulate an enforceable code of ethics.
As President Biden works to restore justice and fairness to the highest court in the land, we’re asking Democrats nationwide to stand with him in calling for the conservative-majority Supreme Court to be held accountable once and for all – and we need you to sign on.
