Today, the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) named Val’s anti-abortion opponent to their 2024 Young Guns program, promising to provide her challenger with the resources she needs to run an effective and well-funded campaign.

They’re coming after Val for one simple reason — the House majority runs through Oregon’s 4th Congressional District . Republicans are hanging on to their razor-thin House majority by a thread , and Val sits at the top of their list of targets to defeat so they can expand their majority and enact their extreme Project 2025 agenda.
