PACT Shines at United Nations Office of Drug and Crime (UNODC)'s Panel: "Accelerating Action on SDG 16.2 to Leave No Child Behind in the Fight Against Trafficking in Persons"
PACT CEO Lori Cohen recently participated in a panel at the High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF) to discuss our critical efforts of ending child sexual exploitation and trafficking. This event encouraged the accelerated action to tackle the issue of child trafficking, protect vulnerable groups from exploitation, and support child victims of trafficking. Its timing is pertinent given the review of SDG16 during the 2024 HLPF, specifically target 16.2, which aims to “end abuse, exploitation, trafficking, and all forms of violence and torture against children.”
A sincere thank you to our partners, Hard Rock International, American Hotel and Lodging Association Foundation, Marriott Hotels, Carlson Family Foundation, Stardust Foundation, and Thadhani Foundation, for helping to make the work at PACT possible!
