Thanks to Kim Reynolds and Donald Trump, today Iowa implemented a six-week abortion ban and became the 22nd state to restrict abortion access. This is the most egregious infringement of reproductive freedom in over 50 years.

Trump constantly brags that he is proud to be the person responsible for overturning Roe v. Wade. Iowans have the opportunity to hold him accountable – first, by supporting Iowa Democrats in their efforts to codify reproductive rights into our state constitution. Then, by ensuring we elect Kamala Harris and keep Trump OUT of the White House.

We can count on Democrats who are running for office at all levels in Iowa to fight for our fundamental freedoms and ensure that every woman has the right to make decisions about her own body – not the government.
