The Kansas Commission on Disability Concerns Disability (KCDC) Disability Service Maps for 2024 are finally updated. The 2024 file is attached below for your use. Please note that there are corrections listed below to the Centers for Independent Living (CIL) map.
After being sent to be updated, there was a major change to the Centers for Independent Living (CIL) map. Shawnee County is now being serviced by RCIL. Johnson and Wyandotte Counties are being served by Independence, Inc. Leavenworth County is being served by 3 Rivers. The CIL map in the file below has correct contact information, but the map is incorrect. The information on the KCDC website is accurate, but the map is not.
Attached below is a copy of the Kansas Association of Centers for Independent Living (KACIL) map which is accurate. Please use this map for this year.
Please feel free to share with the addition of information on the changes to the CIL map.
