August 21 is National Senior Citizens Day! Members can pick up a surprise giveaway starting at 8:00 a.m. on this day at the HSAC, while supplies last.
Join us in honoring the contributions and achievements of these adults by celebrating their wisdom, experiences, and the positive impact they have on our communities.

Mark your calendars for the HEB Senior Games! Represent HSAC and compete in your favorite activity against seniors from Bedford and Euless Senior Centers.

Recreation
Hurst Recreation Center Closed August 12-17 for cleaning and maintenance
Recreation Center Temporary Closure
The Hurst Recreation Center is *closed* for minor repairs, painting, and a deep clean Monday, August 12 to Saturday, August 17. Normal operating hours resume on Monday, August 19.
The Recreation Administrative Office will remain available for phone calls during this week. For more information, click on the button below.

Kid's Triathlon is back! Join us at Chisholm Park, where athletes can bike, run, and slide to the finish line. Participants will bike the path around Chisholm Aquatics Center (roughly .6 miles), run a short course (roughly .25 miles), and finish off by going down a water slide! All participants will have photo opportunities, snacks, and fun! This event is FREE and open to those ages 5-12.
*Registration begins Monday, August 5, at 7:00 a.m. and ends Monday, September 16, at 11:59 p.m.*

Hurst Aquatics Pool Hours Update with Chisholm Aquatics Center in the background
Aquatics Facility Hours
Thank you all for a fantastic summer! As the season comes to an end, our pool hours of operation are changing. Central Aquatics Center is closed after August 1. Starting August 5, Chisholm Aquatics Center is only open on weekends from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. through Labor Day.

Bring your four-legged friends for some fun in the sun at Central Aquatics Center! Concession stand is open. *All dogs must be spayed/neutered. Proof of up-to-date vaccinations, including a current rabies shot, is required upon entrance to the event. *Slides and some features are not available during this event.

Cost: $10 per person - Dogs are FREE (maximum 2 dogs per adult)

Rickel Park demolition in process
Rickel Park Update
Construction continues on the renovation of the Rickel Park playground! We anticipate a soft opening in August, with a formal ribbon cutting after Labor Day. Please do not use the playground until the project can be inspected and the signs removed.
