At least 140 people who worked in the Trump administration had a hand in Project 2025, including former Cabinet secretaries, nominated ambassadors, his deputy chief of staff, and dozens more.

The president of the right-wing Heritage Foundation — the think tank behind the project — called Vance "one of the leaders — if not the leader — of our movement."

The self-proclaimed leader of Project 2025 has received high praise from JD Vance in a new book outlining further ultraconservative policy plans.
