The Republican ticket wants to be the leaders of the free world – and they're asking for your vote.
So, let us be clear: Donald Trump and J.D. Vance don't represent the values of rural and working class Americans.
Here's their game plan:
- Cut support for telehealth and rural hospital expansion
- Lower taxes for the ultra-wealthy and corporations (reminder: Trump is a billionaire, and Vance is worth $10 million)
- Pass an extreme national abortion ban with no exceptions*
In Vance's short political career, he's already propped up foreign dictators like Vladimir Putin, voted against protecting IVF, and introduced bills to slash funding for critical – and job-creating – infrastructure projects.
Their record on families and children does nothing to bring new people to rural areas, and hurts the folks already here. Vance opposes lowering the costs of child care, calling the idea a "war on normal people." When they look at the addiction crisis in our communities, they give Big Pharma a free pass, and float nonsense solutions like bombing Mexico. They have no plan to address the cost of living crisis, except to make it worse for working class people.
Trump and Vance have no interest in bipartisan solutions – and when it comes to rural communities, they're not interested in any solutions. This is the ticket of two self-serving men hellbent on an extreme, oppressive, and cruel agenda.
It's more critical than ever that we elect the Democratic nominee who will not bow to dictators or the donor class. Your donation of $3, or whatever you can give at this critical time, helps run up the margins with rural voters and gets us closer to victory on Election Night. [[link removed]]
