John, I’m the daughter of a newspaperman and a teacher and the granddaughter of an iron ore miner. My grandfather saved his money in a coffee can in the basement to send my dad to college.

I’ve always been guided by the values I was raised with in Minnesota -- and I’m powered by the idea that the work we do in the Senate can make a real difference in people’s lives.

That’s why I’m running for reelection. Will you make a quick donation now so we can hit our end-of-month fundraising target?

Our end-of-month deadline is in two days, which is also when the FEC numbers from our pre-primary fundraising period will become public. Hitting our benchmarks is critical to showing the strength of our campaign.

For the past several months our generous supporters have helped us reach our goals. Can I count on you to contribute today so we can close July out strong?

Thank you so much.
