The Comstock Act is essentially a 150+ year-old federal law meant to ban the distribution of medication and instruments used in abortion care.

Yes, it’s exactly as out-of-touch and sexist as it sounds, John. And yes, you’ve got to believe the GOP will use it to take away our rights, if we let them.

The GOP knows their plans for a national abortion ban are wildly unpopular, so they’re covering all their bases.
