Applications for the 2024-2025 Giving Project Grant open today!  

Giving Project Grants are: 

  • General operating funds  

  • 2 year grants of $20,000 per year for a total of $40,000

  • Dedicated to funding Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC)-led, grassroots organizations across Minnesota that use community organizing as a core strategy to advance equity and justice. 

  • Read, evaluated, and decided upon by the members of the 2024-2025 Giving Project cohort 

This year, Giving Project Grants will specifically seek to support organizations whose work advances gender justice in Minnesota.  

Since 2015, $1,690,000 has been moved to grassroots organizations organizing social justice in Minnesota by HFJ Giving Project Grants. We are excited to kick off another year of funding movements organizations through the Giving Project.  

If you are part of an interested organization, head to our website to find the full application guidelines and register for an information session on July 31 or August 20. If you have questions about grant criteria, focus, and eligibility, connect with Sierra Judy, Giving Project Program Officer. The deadline to submit an application is August 29, 2024 at 5 p.m.
