I am writing to ask you to make a contribution to my Campaign for Democracy PAC. Before I do, you deserve an explanation how the donation will help elect Democrats, and why it is so important you give today.
Let me start with the obvious:
The news of President Biden's stepping aside has changed everything. Not just in the presidential race, but races and up and down the ballot for Democrats.
I have been traveling the country and campaigning for Democrats -- at their request -- in swing states and races everywhere. That work will continue, but it takes resources.
We are also building the largest volunteer operation in the country. Yes, you read that right. As you read this, we have thousands of volunteers texting Democrats across the country asking them to volunteer. We will share that data with Democrats in key states and races, helping them to get out the vote and win.
And, of course, California has the largest number of swing, contested, and winnable House races in the country. Races that will determine control of the House. We have a unique ability to turn out Democrats here, but I need your help to get it done.
