Why Create Video for Social Media?

Date and Time: Tuesday, 27th August 2024 at 9:30am - 11:00am
Location: Online Event

Video content is ubiquitous in marketing today. It's predicted to form an even greater part of marketing for a business in the future.

Audiences love to watch video content and often find it easier to consume when attention is competitive. Most social media platforms prioritise video content ? indeed, some platforms are built primarily on video. Using video in social media ensures your content is more likely to be seen by your target market and gives them the information they need to make a decision more rapidly.

What's covered:

  • ?What can video do for you and your customers? ??? ?Why use video at all? ??? ?Video types ? feed, stories, shorts ??? ?Content ideas ??? ?Optimal length ??? ?Livestreaming

What outcomes will be achieved:

You will leave with a better understanding of why you should use video as part of your social media strategy, the video options and where they fit best. You?ll be able to put into practice what you?ve learned immediately.

The strategy, which runs to 2028 and has been put together by Nottingham City Council, will cover social housing, the private-rented sector and owner-occupied homes. Partnership working will be key to achieving the vision and responding to housing need in the city, and the strategy provides a framework for organisations to work together.

A public consultation is currently open and offers people an opportunity to provide feedback on the draft strategy. Find out more about the strategy here https://www.nottinghamcity.gov.uk/engage-nottingham-hub/open-consultations/housing-strategy-consultation/? To take part in the consultation please fill out our online survey. The responses we receive through the survey will help shape the final strategy document and our actions for the next four years.
