When we proved all the pundits wrong and won two toss-up races in 2022, I knew our campaign was something special. And really, that’s thanks to you and thousands of supporters.

If you look at the results, our race was the exception, not the rule. New York Democrats underperformed in several competitive races. Because of our effort, we won — but by just 3,500 votes in the November midterm elections.

With a margin of victory that close, we instantly knew that we’d be one of the GOP’s top targets in 2024.

And we knew that if we were going to win again and continue the fight for freedom and our democracy — in an environment that will be even more competitive than it was the first time around — we’d need to work relentlessly to grow our grassroots campaign into an operation unlike anything New York has ever seen before.

Fast forward to today. FiveThirtyEight has me TIED with my GOP opponent. House Republicans are spending $21 million in negative attack ads against me — more than any other House Democrat.

On the flip side, we have you and tens of thousands of people like you — and that includes folks from the Hudson Valley and across the country who are up to the challenge of defeating MAGA extremism and going toe-to-toe with the millions of dollars being spent against us. Now the question is this: Do we have what it takes?

Today officially marks 100 days until Election Day, so now is the moment for us to kick this thing into high gear and show what we’re made of.
