Summer is in full swing; that means barbecues, family vacations, and time away from your computers. But for grassroots campaigns like ours, this is the time we typically experience a drop in fundraising, called the “summer slump.”
But with fewer than 100 days until Election Day, we need to keep our foot on the gas if we’re going to win this toss-up race.

John—control of the House majority runs straight through New York’s 17th District and we are close to flipping this seat blue. Mondaire’s opponent, Mike Lawler, was named the second-most vulnerable Republican in the House.
But we know the GOP won’t give up this seat without a fight. Dark money Republican super PACs are pouring money into our district to attack Mondaire. We need to make sure we keep our fundraising on track through the summer slump if we’re going to have the resources to fight back.
