In case you missed it, I was among the first to proudly endorse California’s very own Vice President Kamala Harris for president last week.
Harris has spent her career fiercely fighting for Californians as a district attorney, attorney general, and U.S. senator, and for Americans everywhere as vice president. I’m confident she’ll lift up working families, defend our freedoms, and move our country forward as our first woman president.
But there are less than 100 days until the November election, so we need to hurry up and ensure Harris’ campaign has the resources to take on Trump and win.
Thanks so much,
— Rob

Subject: I proudly endorse Kamala Harris
In light of President Biden stepping down from the 2024 presidential race, I proudly endorse Vice President Kamala Harris as the Democratic nominee for president.
Born and raised in Oakland, Kamala has had a long, accomplished career serving Californians before she made history as the first woman Vice President of the United States. She was elected the District Attorney of San Francisco in 2003 and went on to become our Attorney General in 2010, winning re-election in 2014.
As our former AG, Kamala knows firsthand the importance of protecting our fundamental rights as the People’s Attorney and keeping our communities safe as our Chief Law Enforcement Officer. She will no doubt do the same as president.
In 2017, Kamala became the second Black woman and the first South Asian American to serve in the U.S. Senate. During her term, she fought for a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants, commonsense gun reform, criminal justice reform, more affordable health care, and so much more.
As our VP for the last three and a half years, Kamala worked side by side with President Biden to achieve historic action on climate change, infrastructure investments, lower prescription drug prices, student loan forgiveness, and massive job creation. She’s also a fierce advocate for abortion rights, which we know Donald Trump and JD Vance will further roll back if they make it to the White House.
Kamala now has the opportunity to make history once again and stop the dangerous threat of a second Trump presidency. But she can’t do it without our support.
Let’s unite behind Kamala — a daughter of California, a fierce defender of Democracy, and our next president.
In solidarity,
Rob
