On a deeper level, they’re terrified. Trump’s already trying to back out of the September debate. MAGA Mike’s launching a bunch of last ditch lawsuits. Josh Hawley’s running around the Capitol like he did on January 6th. The talking heads are already making excuses for the orange messiah. In short, everything’s going according to plan.
