+200 people rally for Democracy

Thank you to Distill Social for rallying Marquette. It was an honor to speak. This is what Democracy looks like.

Yesterday, as a family doctor, social worker, public health medical professional and former diplomat, I offered my insights on Project 2025 at a rally in Marquette, organized by great activists at Distill Social.

Here's a snippet of my statements from yesterday:

"Our founders designed our Democracy so the government would derive its power from 'We, the People.' Yes, we must always demand it improve and better-serve us.

"But, by dismantling this structure, Project 2025 claims to give power to the people; In reality, it leaves the powerful, elite, and ultra-wealthy alone and makes the rest of Americans vulnerable, weak, and divided.

"I call it Project 2024 because it's already happening. But, American Democracy began in the 1700s, and it's not done yet. Saving it, now, that's our project.

Help us save our Democracy.
